Establishment of Micro-finance banks as an effort by the government to improve the access to loans and savings services for poor people is promoted as a key strategy to develop businesses at the grassroots and develop the economy ultimately. Many microfinance programmes have been established in Nigeria to provide financial and non-financial services in order to render support services to the Small and Medium Entreprises. However, some of the challenges currently are associated with problems of access to microfinance institutions, their system of operations and conditions with regard to obtaining credit facility, and poor managerial skills on the part of business owners. The study examines the role of microfinance banks in developing business in Nigeria as well as proffer solutions to challenges of SMEs to aid the development of business and Nigerian economy. A survey was conducted among SMEs and microfinance banks within Adamawa. The analysis of data was carried out using a chi-square test analysis SPS. It was concluded that microfinance banks have significant impact on business development.

It is generally perceived that there is diversity in the workforce of any endeavor, be it business, government, or common society. This study therefore tries to discover the impact of workforce diversity on organizational performance in cross river state in Nigeria for the study. We utilized the Blau's1977 list of heterogeneity to gauge the diversity record. While resource development for the year 2008 and 2009, utilizing 2007 and 2008 as base year was utilized to gauge the development strategy. To decide group diversity and performance outcome directed by work group context, a progression of various leveled regression analysis were conducted. The study find significant relationship between a portion of the diversity factors and also individual diversity factors with the measures of organizational performance Likewise it uncovers that sexual orientation, gender and ethnicity are negatively identified with both employee efficiency and performance reward. What's more the study finds that sexual orientation, age and tenure diversity are decidedly connected and are essentially related. It is recommended that organization executives utilize great systems to adequately manage workforce diversity and collective research effort should be done to find out the relevant factors that direct workforce diversity to create positive performance results.

The sole purpose of this research is to determine the effect of product packaging on Nigerian consumers. The knowledge derived from relevant literature was used to draft out organized questionnaires to be filled by respondents residing in Yola and Jimeta towns, Adamawa State, Nigeria. A total of 270 questionnaires were distributed to respondents but only 222 questionnaires turned out valid. With the information gathered, it underwent analysis with the help of SPSS 21.0 and Microsoft Excel software. On the SPSS package, correlation and significance (2 tailed) were used as statistical tools. Recommendations are that marketers should know and understand the importance of product packaging because of its benefits as Nigerian consumers consider the packaging of products at the time of purchase.

The purpose of this research is to explore the factors that influence Nigerian online consumer purchase behavior. After a detailed relevant literature and theoretical framework on factors influencing Nigerian online consumer purchase behavior, researcher framed a well-structured questionnaire for collecting required information from a sample of 300 Nigerian customers out of which 217 valid responses received. The collected data were summarized, coded, and controlled by using SPSS 21.0 along with Microsoft Excel software packages and analyzed by using statistical tools like observance of percentile and correlation. Out of 217 respondents, 52.1 percent of Nigerian consumers stated product quality as the most frequent factor that affects their online purchase behavior as against just 23.5 percent opted trust. Brand image came down as a second priority with 44.7 percent as a factor that affects online consumer purchase behavior. Astonishingly, price came down with just 38.7 percent as a third priority, 37.3 percent convenience as their fourth priority to online consumer purchase. Out of 217 respondents, 43.3 percent of Nigerian customers are highly satisfied with the services that are provided by online marketers. The research confined only two capital towns’ viz., Jimeta and Yola of the Adamawa state in Nigeria, and the researcher enquired only general online purchase behavior of Nigeria without any product specificity. The outcomes of the study are useful to online marketers in the country to review the present and design their marketing plans to influence the online purchase behavior of Nigerian consumers. This is an extensive pioneering work on the extent to which certain factors influence Nigerian online consumer purchase behavior which is beneficial to both online marketers and to the academia for their unique purposes.
