The workshop focuses on the importance of theory to research and includes a discussion of how theory is conceptualized. The systematic nature of theory is to guide research, yet many researches are conducted without theory leading to sloppy works. Research without theory has no foundation; likewise, theory depends on research to provide proof of the theory's correctness. Therefore, thesis without a theory is blind and must NOT be considered as a scientific or scholarly work, no matter how much effort is put in such a work. Considering the importance of theory, we will explain the application of theory to research and how it will be adopted in M.Sc/PhD Theses. |
