dc.description.abstract	Writing a PhD research proposal can be a daunting task. However, it is a necessary requirement of your faculty as well as a valuable personal process. It helps the students to structure their thoughts and the proposed research project and allows students to focus on the research question and its purpose. It clearly specifies what is involved in the research project, as well as providing students with a clear plan of how each stage of the research will be undertaken, and the anticipated outcomes. Besides, it helps in identifying problems that students may encounter along the way and directs them to think on how to manage those kinds of issues.	en_US
