dc.description.abstract There are many factors that influence people to watch movies. Three factors were identified for this research. The factors are movie trailers, movie reviews/ratings and movie casts. The goal was to find out if and how these factors influence the American University of Nigeria (AUN) undergraduate students to watch movies. In order to do this, a convenience and purposive sampling size of 125 students was used. Online surveys were used to collect data. The results showed that the movie trailers, movie reviews and movie casts, along with a few other factors such as movie directors, genre, plot, boredom and stress influence AUN students to watch movies. This research study was conducted in AUN, Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria. en_US
